On Sunday 25th October, we braved our first Car Show as an exhibitor. It would be a lie to say that we were confident, organised, or well rehearsed. Somehow though, I’m pleased to say we turned up with everything we needed on the van and survived (possibly even enjoyed!) the day. Not realising that the stands were literally an area painted on the concrete floor, there was a moment of panic, wondering where on earth we were going to put our wall banners, and work examples purpose made for wall-mounting. James saved the day though, fixing the bonnet to the engine stand!
The early start, followed by panic-construction of our colourful (if somewhat green) stand, was made worthwhile buy the number of friendly, and interested people who passed by. Throughout the day, we were visited by lots of keen restoration enthusiasts, who had the opportunity to look at some completed items as well as ask plenty of questions.
If we missed you at this show, fingers crossed we’ll catch up at the next!
